The Old Pharmacy

was another name given to the “Redüttchen” and in earlier times it served as a home for the gardener at La Redoute. The threat of demolition hung like a sword of Damocles over it for a long time until the leaseholder of the Redoute, Günnewig Hotels & Restaurants, extended it into a rustic and cosy restaurant. The rustic atmosphere is created by the half-timber framework dominating the two floors. In summer the splendid terrace ranks among the most beautiful in Bonn. The Redüttchen seats as many as 100 guests on the ground floor and upstairs. On request the entire hotel can be rented or booked for private parties or conferences. For small groups, tables can be combined or separate areas seating 10 to 40 people made available.

Culinary Service

The Redüttchen offers not only international cuisine but also homely and hearty dishes, some with a regional flair. The menu is changed regularly and we follow a culinary calendar with seasonal fare changing from month to month. It has become traditional for example to serve asparagus dishes in spring and a whole goose in the run-up to Christmas.
